Live Blogging from the Apple Store

Well, here I am at the Apple Store in U Village waiting for my Macbook to get its second palmrest fix. The right side of the palmrest has cracked for the second time. I guess I just over use my baby and rest my hand too much on it. Who knows. I don’t know. All I know is this is the second time that it has happened to me, but it is a known issue so it gets fixed for free. Yay!

Soon, I will only be an unemployed dilettante instead of an unemployed, homeless dilettante with Kato tendencies. Ha. Marty & Kristi have graciously allowed me to extend my stay at their lovely home in the Phinney neighborhood. They have been lovely and generous hosts. I do not know what I would do without their kindness! Hehe. Anyhow, Kruti and I have decided to live together. I will be living with Kruti and her mini dachshund, Toby. Ha, this will be a big step for me. Kruti and I discussed quite extensively how this situation would be, but decided we were both adult enough to handle it. Ha. We will be renting a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom townhome on Capitol Hill (15th & Union). Yippee. Hehe, it’s on the #2 busline and is only four blocks away from Trader Joe’s. Weehee, plus being close to all the shops & restaurants on Pine and Pike. We are actually renting from a girl we went to high school who’s a year younger. Funny. Anyhow, it should be quite exciting and we will have an office, but not a lot of furniture since we both have budgetary constraints. i.e., I don’t have a job. Haha.

I have been interviewing and doing a lot of informationals so I am definitely trying. Let’s just all hope that I will be getting a job soon!

I want to wish you all a very Happy Holidays and an exciting New Year!!

Luck is Not My Lady…

Well, I am totally edumucated now, a real life, $60,000 in debt, MBA. Wee-Hee. I am awesome, please, please, email me and tell me how awesome I am, congratulate me and shower me with champagne and truffles! Hello, cham-cham! w00t!, which is now a word of the year as decided by Merriam Webster. Ahe, points out that w00t is not a word, and indeed she is correct. That Ahe, she’s a smarty.

So, if I weren’t so lazy and it wasn’t 9pm and utterly dark and cold out, I would definitely have taken a photo, instead I will just tell this little story in just words. I met Kirstin for lunch on Monday, a little sushi, mm. I park in front of Wasabi Bistro and when we are finished, we walk out and I look across the street and say, wtf, someone stole the VW emblem off the front of my car. Get closer to inspect, and yes some mofo jimmied the logo off, and damaged the front grill. Who does this?? Ugh, anyhow, I was already on my way to a service appointment at Carter VW and they give me an estimate of $300-$350 because the grill needs to be replaced and painted. The emblem, by the way, is only $44. Awesome. Awesome.

All I have to say is boo.
